At your consultation, you will have the opportunity to share your concerns and discuss what you would like to improve about your nose. One of our plastic surgeons will carefully review your goals, explain the details of rhinoplasty, and design a personalized surgical plan tailored to your needs. Our experienced office staff will provide a detailed surgery quote, answer any logistical questions, and assist you in selecting a convenient date for your procedure.
You will have a pre-operative appointment about three weeks before your rhinoplasty. During this visit, you will review and sign surgical consent forms, go over any remaining questions or concerns, and receive detailed pre- and post-operative care instructions to help you prepare for a smooth recovery.
Your rhinoplasty will be performed at an accredited surgical facility. The procedure typically takes about 2 – 4 hours, depending on the complexity of your surgical plan. In most cases, it is done on an outpatient basis, which means you will be able to return home the same day with a responsible adult to accompany you.
Generally, you will have your first follow-up visit within 1 – 3 days after rhinoplasty and another appointment around 4 – 5 days later. Additional post-operative visits will be scheduled as needed, based on your individual healing and recovery progress.
Recovery from rhinoplasty can range from two weeks to several months, depending on the complexity of the procedure and individual healing. At Aesthetica, post-operative care and patient safety are our highest priorities. You will be seen regularly after surgery to ensure your healing is progressing properly, and you will also have 24-hour access to an on-call nurse should any urgent concerns arise.
